Standing at the helm of Uptick is founder and CEO, Dave Stamm. After co-founding the first successful Customer Relationship Management software company and pioneering the CRM market segment, Dave found himself at a crossroads. He understood the value of CRM applications like Salesforce, but also understood there was a glaring disconnect between the intent of the software and the experience of the user, as most users only use their CRM system out of obligation, not because it provides any value in return. He saw the exact same thing in the Customer Success platforms market where in addition customer success managers find they cannot trust the one-size-fits-all rules-based customer health scores they are presented with, and are completely lacking guidance on what actions to take next to drive the success of their customers forward.

Dave built a team to help him create a revolutionary product that empowers customer success managers to thrive. They wanted to make it easier for subscription-based software businesses to succeed in this market that has been lacking innovation and new ideas for years. They knew that in order to do this, they needed to architect a purpose-designed, AI-first software-as-a-service platform designed to quickly and easily ingest and deeply analyze a diverse set of customer interactions, support histories, product usage data sources, and much more.

With decades of experience and a deep understanding of what subscription software businesses need to drive revenue and reduce churn—Dave took his vision and, with his team, transformed it into reality.
